As a Neighborhood Guide, I'm responsible for cruising the streets & checking out the homes, making sure that everyone is up to par with the FC page content guidelines. If I see a site with good design and/or content, I may submit them for an award. If I see sites that don't comply with FC standards, I bring the issue up to the Ministers, who will take action or possibly remove the scum off my streets. *evil grin*
If I see sites that have broken links & things, or if their page looks like they're having HTML problems, I may ask if they'd like assistance/advice on how to fix it. As an NG, I'm kinda like a cyber-cop doing street patrol & offering help to citizens, as well as being your neighborhood welcoming committee. *s*

I mainly volunteered to be a Hostess & NG because I like helping people with their website questions, & I like seeing the look of "enlightenment" on their face when I've helped them figure out or understand how to fix their HTML/Site problems.
